Ahavat Olam holds Shabbat and holiday morning services at the Peretz Centre, 6184 Ash Street, Vancouver, near Cambie and 45th Avenue. Shabbat services are from 10:00 until 12:30, followed by a dairy-veggie pot-luck kiddush lunch to which everyone is always welcomed. A detailed calendar is below.

On two Shabbats per month we engage with our full davvening, Torah reading and dvar Torah discussion. One Shabbat is devoted to meditation and contemplative mindfulness. One other Shabbat begins with brief singing and morning prayers and is devoted to a program of discussion and learning.

Ahavat Olam's monthly Kabbalat Shabbats and Shabbat potluck dinners are held in the home of Rabbi David and Michal Mivasair at 2644 Manitoba Street near Cambie and Broadway. The Mivasairs' home offers a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere with all the facilities we need at this time, including safe space for children to play. This site is not as wheelchair accessible as we would like. Anyone wishing to come in a wheelchair is advised to phone before Shabbat so that we can provide a temporary ramp up the one step at the rear entrance.
